BingoBoingo: asciilifeform: I'll head out to the datacenter to position the drive for imaging once the rain lets up a bit
dorion: BingoBoingo thank you, Sir. I'm preparing the deedbot deposit this afternoon. the price will be based on http://btcbase.org/log/2019-07-09#1922133 , correct ? will the 1TB drive carry additional cost ? (not seeing any indication on pizarro.net)
BingoBoingo: dorion: That auction came in well under the outside market rate. Based on the conversation that follows I'm inclined towards using 11,921.40 USD/BTC I found on the local market that day.
BingoBoingo: As far as the disk goes are you looking to keep the Rockchip rented long term?
BingoBoingo: asciilifeform: I'll be headed to the basement and hooking the drive up to dulap
dorion: ok, that's generous of you on the price. your call. I intend to rent the Rockchip long term. First priority is to get trb node set up and syncing. Then irc client and mp-wp.
BingoBoingo: dorion 0.0028645925 quarterly for a FuckGoat, 0.01 BTC quarterly for the SSD and the SSD is yours after 1 year, and 0.018874256 BTC for the quarter's Rockchip. Brings the total to 0.03173885, sound good?
dorion: BingoBoingo can you clarify the make, model and condition of the SSD ?
dorion: is the 0.01 BTC on the SSD fixed or variable based on the auction rate ?
BingoBoingo: dorion: For simplicity and for the delay in getting you set up, how does August 1st sound.
dorion: August 1st sounds good. mind breaking down the rk price as well; I get (75 * 3 + 50)/11921.4 = 0.023067760
BingoBoingo: You're getting a drive and FUCKGOATS on top of the Rockchip I'm inclined to waive the 50 setup fee.
dorion: number makes more sense then, thank you. agreed to the 0.03199927 BTC.
BingoBoingo: Aite, I'll fire off the invoice and asciilifeform will get you the login credentials once its paid. I'll also go to the cage and plug in that FUCKGOATS tonight, the SSD is already plugged in.
dorion: log in credentials ? or do I send an ssh key ?
BingoBoingo: dorion: For the shared hosting you'd submit an ssh key. For the rockchips you'll get a password from which you can customize the machine. Putting your ssh key on the Rockchip and changing the sshd.conf is one of the first things to do.
