diana_coman: ftr mining seems at least to clear up a bit: noobs get ~only basics and usually same thing at a fixed spot; at same spot, foxy gets at least 4 resources and usually she gets the same basic only rarely
mircea_popescu: in the following sense : if the difference between clicking qx and clicking qx-1 is known to the crafter to be something relevant, like say 1% less returns (or conversion rate, or something)
mircea_popescu: then the value of that -1 in x-1 can very well exceed the cost of the qty of q1 stuff that's required to produce it, by 2, 3 degrees of magnitude.
diana_coman: anyways, to put some numbers re mining speed: ~20k boulders took a few hours only and that because of lacking bot; sort of matching crafting I suppose, if only it weren't that ~everyone is crafting
diana_coman: mircea_popescu, note also that in principle highly skilled crafter can simply pack more per bundle and sell it to lower skilled crafter who might get this way a cheaper high q bundle than bundling himself high q stuff
diana_coman: but all those seem to be too much trouble atm or something, not used in any case
mircea_popescu: point in case : if woa bp q 30 gives 38% conversion and woa bp q 29 gives 36% conversion, considering the bundle is like 600k this means 12k worth of extra woa per click. the worth of 12k woa being like 30k ecu, that q point shaved makes one 30k.
mircea_popescu: the material cost to shave 1 q point is about 1/30 of a q1 bp, and so each q1 bp is worth, by this calculation, 1mn ON TOP of whatever a bp of q30 is worth.
diana_coman: aha, that's the iffy part with selling q1 bps
mircea_popescu: now, the 1mn premium per blade may well not stand up for grass ever. however... it doesn't take MUCH premium in eq value to push the % price of a qabv 0.6 ECu up a lot.
Mocky: it should say, at top of foxy bot window "craft-table Not found. Looking closer." followed by a line with slot# and contents for each thing in inv, followed by "craft-table Not found again. Table will not be used."
diana_coman: if it relies on /drop only, that one is original idiotic client: it will drop *one* table but god knows which one (it's not the first, nor the last nor...; iirc we even wasted some time on this before, should be in the logs)
diana_coman: coming back for the table is brilliant really
mircea_popescu: wowza diana_coman ! i use diff lbn counts for wpl and basics!
